"Overcome" by Live
It's September.
And for me, it's a time of year that is frozen in images, snapshots, and bits of video. A hat in the dust.
Bits of paper floating in a fog of dust. A girl with a yellow flower and a crushed car.
Some days - when i find it hard to remember - the images take me to places that few people have gone.
A office lobby, full of New Yorkers covered with tower dust. A crowd of angry faces - looking to place blame. Tears.
Protecting images. Keeping data safe. Knowing that my children's children will live in a world where access to raw information is cherished. Raw. Pure. Untouched.
There's no time to discern meaning. There's no place for contemplation or consequences.
Just a series of frozen moments. And the memories of lives change. Lives lost.
